Jasmine's Story...
Sweet and unusual, this wonderful cat will captivate you with her sweet purr and loving ways. She has unusual eyes, one deep blue and the other honey gold, and a large butterfly on the top of her head. She wants nothing more than to have someone to love and will reward you by sitting on your lap and purring around your legs. She has a chronic problem with her eyes and needs them cleaned daily, but is a very patient cat who will tolerate most anything you do to her. She seems to like other cats, likes to play with feather toys and rolling balls, and eats mostly dry food. If you are interested in this cat, please complete an online application at and you will be contacted in return by phone or email. For more information, call 503 701 3160. Includes spay/neuter, microchip, worming and flea treatment, current vaccines, vet exam and free 30-day insurance offer. Adoption fee is $50 for adult cats. Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jasmine, a HILLSBORO Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in HILLSBORO, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in HILLSBORO.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in HILLSBORO already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a HILLSBORO breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in HILLSBORO paves the way for another one to be saved.
