Blossom's Story...
Blossom is a sweet, gentle almost 7 month old blue-eyed Siamese/Snowshoe mix short hair little girl. Pictures do not do her eyes justice! Cuddling is nice; she will roll onto her side for belly rubs, softly purring her appreciation. Cat nip toys are fun, cat tunnel terrific, ball-in-the-track & laser are interesting, but giving your hand a paw hug or brushing up against you is great!. Plus, bird watching out a nice window with a view ranks up there, too. She comes across as less than outgoing at first meeting, but is just a quieter cat needing a quieter home. Just give her a few days to adjust to new surroundings or people.... HOWEVER, this girl can be quite entertaining when playful, yet does go off for her “beauty sleep”. Litter box & scratching manners are good. What a little Affectionate Love! Not bonded strongly, but enjoys her sister Foxy's company (go to same home?). For more information on this sweetheart, please contact foster mom Catherine Lewis at503-804-4657 or catherine@catscradlerescue.com As a 6-month old kitten, Blossom's adoption fee is $95 or you can adopt her with her sister Foxy for $150. Her fee includes spay/neuter, microchip, worming and flea treatment, current vaccines, vet exam and free 30-day insurance offer. Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blossom, a HILLSBORO Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in HILLSBORO, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in HILLSBORO.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in HILLSBORO already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a HILLSBORO breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in HILLSBORO paves the way for another one to be saved.
