Meet the coolest little girl this side of the Mississippi!! Presley was rescued with her 5 babies out of high-kill north Georgia. All her amazing puppies have been transported to Washington and adopted so now it’s momma’s turn! Beautiful Presley is just over a year, and the most adorable mix of Basenji and JRT (we think!). She is the most photogenic foster I’ve had! Miss Presley has personality plus and a ton of affection. She is small (weighing 28lbs) but high energy and sturdy enough for long walks and daily runs. This girl needs and wants her exercise and “me time”. Presley LOVES to play with other dogs and a home with another dog is best as she will be awesome company and playmate for your other. She gets along great with fosters other pups- big and small! Presley is great on the leash, sooo super smart and such a quick learner. She was a great mom and know is ready to be an amazing companion for you and your other pups. Presley is good with the mellow and dog savvy cats at foster Tracy’s house – but she is interested in the squirrels in my back yard so slow intro to other kitties is best. Neither foster Tracy nor I have small kids, and Presley can take a few mins. to warm up to new people, so kids would just need to go slow with her at first. But once she knows you she will bond with you forever and be just the most loveable and amazing little girl. She knows all her basic commands and is crate trained and totally house trained. This active and self-assured has some of the funniest quirks and an absolute eagerness to please! She is an excellent guard dog as well. Presley is otherwise not a barker, but definitely will warn you about someone at the door. She loves car rides and is excellent in the car. She loves to be everywhere you are but not to the point of being “clingy”. I just can’t say enough about this elegant little girl who takes a hold of everyone’s heart after they get to know her! She is athletic but not jumpy but does love to snuggle and take over your bed or the pet bed!! Pres. has the cutest “prance” to her step- it’s like a gait of a horse and super adorable! She doesn’t mind rain or inclement weather but still enjoys “dress up” and looking cute and warm! She can be reserved with strangers, which isn’t a bad thing for sure!
