Meet Nicholas! Nicholas is a Lhaso/Poodle Mix who is about 3-4 years old and weighs about 18 lbs. Darling Nicholas was abandoned and found as a stray in a local shelter. He was so matted he had to be shaved in order to get the matts off but now he feels so much better. His coat is growing out beautifully now and it's gotten longer. We will post more pics very soon.
Due to his breed once his coat grows back in he will need regular brushing and grooming so this never happens to him again. Nicholas will also need to be an inside only dog. Since coming from the shelter environment he wants to be close to his people and soak up all the love and attention he deserves. We are currently working on housetraining and he is doing as well as can be expected considering the way he was neglected but he has made alot of progress and is on his way. He gets along well with other dogs. Nicholas is a happy guy, who has the most incredible soulful eyes in person. They really do have a story behind them. Even though he's had a hard previous life, his tail never stops wagging, Sadly before he was groomed he was so terribly matted that he couldn't wag it at all. So that says a lot ab out this special guys disposition. He is very forgiving and ready to begin a new life with someone who truly loves him.
Nicholas will be a wonderful dog for someone who truly needs the companionship and love of a furbaby.. He is a very lovable guy and eats it up when you make over him = )
