Grandma Hazel's Story...
Hazel is 9 years old and weighs 5.5 pounds. She came to us starved and had horrible skin issues. She does have some crusty patches that are easily maintained with medicated bathing and diet. Hazel is an indoor only girl, she uses pee pads but does enjoy time outside in a safe small yard. She is very tiny and can slip through gaps in fencing or gates, she can get through the step pedal baby gate bars. For more info or to apply to adopt Hazel please contact us at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Grandma Hazel, a McDonough Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in McDonough, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in McDonough.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McDonough already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McDonough breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McDonough paves the way for another one to be saved.
