My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sparky is a 2 1/2 year old, 8 lb. adorable male Yorkie. He is cuddly and loving, but needs patience and time to warm up to people. Once he likes you, you will be showered with kisses. He wants to be with his person all the time. He likes chew bones, and soft toys. He plays well with non-alpha dogs his size, and will even try to play with big dogs. He has decided he does not like cats. He loves kissing the Golden Retriever female at his foster home.

Sparky would do best in a Forever Home with terrier experience. He barks at new people he meets. He's fearful about being trimmed. He's OK with baths and blow dryers. We are working on the trimming part. His house-training is also a work in progress, but he's getting better all the time. If you ask Sparky, he'll tell you he'd love a home with retired folks, or someone who works from home.
