My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ellie was one of the Kansas Seven chihuahuas that we pulled from a kill shelter in western Kansas. She came to the shelter as a stray and was so frightened of being there that she simply shut down. She quit eating so was moved to a foster home where life was much improved for her. Here, in our home, she seems to be very comfortable. She is getting along just fine with the other dogs and enjoys our attention. I believe that Ellie is a chihuahua/dachshund mix. She is only one to two years old and weighs under 5 pounds. Due to her small size, she can't go to a home with small children. Ellie is now spayed, up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, on heartworm/flea preventative, is microchipped and has had a dental procedure to remove retained baby teeth. Her adoption fee is $200 with all vet work done.
