Malcolm's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Malcolm's Story...
A family is going through a very rough time right now and did a very selfless thing and put their dog first. They asked us to take him on and find the best possible home we could. Malcolm is a beautiful black Pug. He is only 7 months old. He will be fixed and Micro Chipped Thursday Dec 18th and will then be ready for his new home. Pugs are well known to have medical issues later on in life and we want to make sure he has a home that understands this and will have no problem taking care of anything he needs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Malcolm, a Portland Pug puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Portland, or seeking a Pug puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
