Stitch's Story...
Did you say hansom?? Why yes he is! Just look at that face! The pics really don't do him justice, but his loving eyes will melt your heart in person. Not to mention, he's the perfect size! 35lbs and not quite knee-high, he's easily pick-up-able and totally snuggleable! And his super sweet face goes with his super sweet personality! He really is a quiet, gentle soul that has nothing but love to give!

Stitch is great with other dogs, people, and especially loves kids! He was raised with 2 kids under 5 and he is very gentle and respects their space! He's still a puppy at heart though so supervision is still required!

Stitch is a playful boy (just check out his video!), and he loves playing at the dog park or with his people. He is a bit of an active boy and would do with a home that can exercise him regularly, and maybe even play flyball or agility with him. He sure is clever enough for it!

Stitch is quiet in his crate, although he would rather snuggle with his people at night! He is house trained and walks very politely on leash. Although he still needs some reassurance in new situations. And needs some experience riding in cars to make it more fun for him!

If you are looking for a dog that has a love for life and everything it has to offer and will be your best buddy and keep your feet (or lap) warm while you snuggle up at night Stitch is your man!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stitch, a Saskatoon Cattle Dog/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog/Border Collie for sale in Saskatoon, or seeking a Cattle Dog/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Saskatoon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saskatoon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saskatoon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog/Border Collie breeders who help with Cattle Dog/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saskatoon paves the way for another one to be saved.
