Reason in Rescue: Cassie and her sister Feather came from a shelter in VA. This shelter doesn't specialize in bunnies so they were in danger, so they were distributed to some rescues that specialized in bunnies and had room!
Personality: Cassie has personality in spades! We have found that Cassie has cage aggression/anxiety so she does best when either in a puppy pen or free range in a bunny proofed room. When she is out as much as humanly possible she is sweet and cuddly and enjoys petting. She does not like people touching her stuff or her food so we recommend adults only for this girl. She is very outgoing, curious about everything, and not scared of anything either! She is a very smart girl who will need lots of attention and stimulation in her new home.
Friends: Cassie is a good candidate to be bonded to a neutered male
Requirements: Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with an as large as possible area or puppy pen. Adoption process: An adoption application must be filled out (email for the application), and approved by us. Then we will arrange a meeting time to see the animal of interest. A home visit is required prior to adoption. Suggested adoption donation is $60 which includes her spay and microchip.
