Peanut's Story...
This feisty, fun-loving teacup Chihuahua is looking for a home with someone who will play with her often, and give her a warm lap to curl up on. She loves to tussle with larger, relaxed dogs who are not threatened by her playfully aggressive antics.

Peanut is about four months old, and quickly becomes attached to anyone who will hold her. She sleeps through the night if crated, but wants out to run around as soon as she hears anyone stirring in the morning. She will turn your rugs upside down, and hide your slippers, but when she snuggles up to you and gives you kisses it’s all worth it!

Peanut is a tiny precious robust baby Chihuahua girl. She was probably born September 2014. She would be happiest in a home with at least one other playful dog. For application, please contact Bev at crazydoglady64@aol.com. Adoption fee is $175. This rescue does NOT adopt puppies to first time dog families.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peanut, a richmond Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in richmond, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
