My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Little Holly Golightly and her sister Della were rescued from a high kill shelter. Holly is approx 2 yrs old and weigh 8.5lbs. They look like little dachshund/Italian greyhound mixes and are just as precious as can be. She has been treated for heart worms and is on a monthly preventive. She is just adorable and so well behaved. She loves to hang out in a dog bed with the other rescues and is a perfect lap dogs. She loves to eat and gets very excited at dinner time. They love your lap and will climb up for attention and love to be petted. Holly does well in a harness and seems to be pretty well house trained. She should be watched if let out into a yard as she can find a hole and also climb really well. She is a perfect apartment size dog and is one of those dogs that is no trouble at all.
The total adoption cost of $425 includes the required interstate health certificate and transport ($225), spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a pre paid registration($200). The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. All our dogs are in foster care, there is no physical shelter. Some have not yet arrived in PA.
