Here's what the humans have to say about me:
THIS FACE! We estimate this little lady is about two years old and a Shih Tzu mix. Perhaps some poodle? Right now she is underweight so we are working on getting her to a healthy size. She enjoys people and can tolerate other animals in small spurts but as far as a permanent home, she should be the only pet in the household.
The Humane Society of New York was founded in 1904 to protect the city's working horses. Today, its clinic and Vladimir Horowitz/Wanda Toscanini Horowitz Adoption Center looks after the health and emotional well-being of every adoption animal.
HSNY is a non-kill shelter. Every animal is micro-chipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, and they offer FREE vet care for the first 3 weeks after adoption. TO APPLY, please visit http://humanesocietyny.org/adoptions/ --download the application, then email completed form to sandra.hsny@verizon.net, fax it to (212) 752-2803, or bring it in person to the adoption center.
Our one and only location is: 306 East 59th Street (between 1st & 2nd Avenues) in Manhattan. Our adoption hours are 10:30AM - 4:00PM, 7 days a week. If you'd like to sponsor this pet, please email sandra.hsny@verizon.net. Your donation is tax deductible, and 100% will go towards animal programs.
