Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Shiva the Shiba Mix! Shiva is the perfect size weighing in at around 30lbs. She is a sweet pup who is just about a year old and loves to play!! Shiva was rescued from a high kill shelter after being found running around the desert by herself. She might have some Shepherd in her lineage somewhere as well. Shiva loves to go on walks and play with the other pups at The Pet Rescue Center. She is a smart girl who learns quickly. Shiva will need someone who will make sure she continues with her basic training. She would be a great running partner! Come meet Shiva today!
ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adopt/adoption-application.html. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets from high kill shelters and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
