My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

His Owner Passed Away and Wasn't Found Until 3 Days Later with Bubba By His Side!

This poor boy lost both of his owners within in a year. Bubba’s dad suddenly passed away and was in the home 3 days before being found with Bubba by his side. He is full of love, affectionate and so playful, so a yard or active person would be a plus. Sadly Bubba was never socialized around dogs, so he is very nervous and needs to be the only dog in the home.

If it weren't for a tiny bit of white on his face, you would never know that spry little Bubba is 7 years old. He has the energy of a young dog and loves people and walks. At only about 50 lbs., Bubba is a medium-sized dog who is great with kids.

This handsome boy does have separation anxiety but who could blame him after all he’s been through. Living alone day after day is really taking a toll on him. Someone visits daily to walk him and feed him but he is growing more depressed with each passing day. He tries so hard to exit the door when anyone leaves the house and yesterday he did just that. Bubba did run out and was hit by a car. He is at the vet’s office and x-rays show no internal damage but some broken teeth. Lucky boy this time but we don’t want to take a chance on this happening again. With the proper obedience training and lots of love and attention he will flourish.

We don’t want to see Bubba go to a shelter. Please consider adopting this sweet and sad boy. If you are looking for a great family pet, look no more.
