Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi World...
I'm Trinity and I'm a bichon girl of about 1 ½ years old. While I’m a cute little girl (see my bows!) weighing 18 pounds, I am not quite your ‘average’ bichon. I’ve had a bit of a rocky start in my young life. You see I was at a kill shelter when Bichon FurKids found me and I was really scared. I’m so lucky that I can tell you my story!
My favorite thing in the world is to go on walks – I just love them! I can go on long walks or short walks – I love them all. I’m in training with my foster Dad and learning commands. I really want to please him and make him happy.
On the other hand, I’m not wild about the dog park– because there are some dogs I just don’t care for. Mom says I can make friends – but I am selective! I like bichons a lot however I don’t care for puppies, wrestlers or wild acting dogs. I’m also really fast. Dad says if I see a bunny or a kitty on my walk I run really fast and try to catch him. (I gave Dad a lot of exercise until the trainer told him what to do … so that won’t happen again!)
Dad says I'm housetrained, pretty independent and completely comfortable ‘hanging out.’ I also like to curl up on my dog bed and watch whatever is going on.
Mom says that I'm not a barker, I don’t chew things up and am very good in the house - but that it does take me a few days to relax and warm up to new people. Once I do, I become a tail wagging happy girl-- it’s just that meeting new people can sometimes be stressful to me. Dad says I’ll do best in a home with someone who is loving, confident working with dogs and able to help me.
The most important thing for you to know is that I have a lot of love to give and a lot of potential. I have come a LONG way already in a very short period of time. In a loving home with an experienced dog person I can go the rest of the way – and become the happy little bichon I really want to be all the time.
If I sound like the kind of fur kid that you are looking for, please complete an application for me at www.bichonfurkids.com/application.htm- and ask for Trinity, 'cause I'll be waiting to hear from you.
With a grateful heart,
Trinity
