Here's what the humans have to say about me:
An application must be completed, before we can schedule a meet and greet. Pierre is still available for adoption if you can see this posting. Apply here at: http://welcomehomedogrescue.org/adoption/application-to-adopt-a-companion/
Pierre is a gorgeous purebred Standard Poodle puppy. He is 7 months old and weighs 33 pounds. He is playful, but on the calmer side for a standard poodle. He is extremely smart and well behaved for a puppy. He is house trained and knows some basic obedience. Pierre is good with dogs, cats and kids. He needs an active family who is willing to put in the time necessary to train and groom such a beautiful dog. Poodles are non-shedding dogs with hair that needs to be regularly trimmed. Poodles do not have the extreme exercise requirements that some other breeds have, but they do need to be walked daily.
Pierre's non-refundable adoption fee is $500. All dogs are fully vetted, microchipped, spayed or neutered and up to date with vaccinations. He is currently in a foster family in La Habra. The application is the first step before we can schedule a meet and greet.
Our adoption process looks like this:
1. Adoption application review by WHDR board
2. Adoption application approval
3. Meet and greet
4. Home safety check
5. Final approval and adoption finalized
Our volunteers, donors and adopters mean the world to us! Without you, we couldn't do what we do - saving the lives of abused, neglected and abandoned dogs and providing them with a loving forever home.
