Hi I'm Droopy! The vet believes I am a Basset Hound / Coonhound mix and I am approximately 3 years old. I was a stray so there's really no way to tell my exact age. Unfortunately I am Heartworm positive but don't let that scare you! It is not contagious to humans or pets, completely treatable and I am currently receiving treatment to take care of this, which the nice people at Saving Grace Animal Rescue are paying for. My treatments should be complete in March 2015 but don't let that stop you from adopting me before then! I can go home prior to treatment completion but there will be some directions for continued vet care. I certainly don't let it get me down! I love to run around and sniff the ground to see what I can smell. My favorite thing to do is cuddle! I am very affectionate and would love a family to snuggle with. Could it be you?
