My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

These absolutely WONDERFUL girls are our China and Evie. Both are the best of pals and will NOT be separated for any reason. They adore each other and bonded instantly when they met. Both are about 6 months old as of 12/15.

Both are FIV/FELV negative, up to date on vaccines and spayed.

China came to us when a person claimed she was attacked by a dog. She was battered and bruised and it was a battle to get her the proper care. When she finally had it, the leg was too far gone to save so sadly China lost her front leg. Her back leg was also broken but it was able to be salvaged. Her leg has a little twist, but she gets around perfectly fine. With 3 legs China knows no different. She's the first into everything she should not be. We are constantly saying NO CHINA but not in bad ways, just little kitten ways that she still needs to be taught. We don't mind it since China has been a remarkable story. We much rather she make up for lost time and start her learning now than to lose all her kitten life all together. She is adorable and petite and truly loves her best pal Evie.

Evie came to us by way of North Carolina. Like her foster Mom she was born in High Point, NC. She found her way to her foster Mom's childhood home during a family funeral service. Of course the family knew that this relative did cat rescue and it was expected that I would take care of the issue, as I did. We waited for a few days and no one claimed her, so off to NJ she came. Once we arrived in the state a call came. Her owners had missed her and was looking for this precious kitten who was left to wonder on a busy road. When they asked they were told the kitten took a ride to NJ. Sad, the owners understood and explained how the siblings and mother were all outdoor cats and had been killed. Evie was a lone survivor. At that moment we all knew including the owners she was in great hands. Evie came in and instantly bonded with China once she was spayed and could bond.

The two have never left each others side. Evie is 100% find and China is just missing a leg. They roll around and chase each other like no tomorrow. They sleep with each other and clean each other too. Very affectionate and very loving. The truly love to be all over you as well and keep you warm in the winter!
