Clarence's Story...
Clarence and Raymond (both pictured) are an adorable pair of 4 month old brothers who MUST be adopted together! These two little guys were found without a mother at 2 weeks old, and have been raised in a foster home since they were found. Both of them have grown up in to AWESOME kittens who will fit in to just about any home. They are beyond friendly and crave human attention. They love to be cuddled up in your lap or in your arms but are still typical kittens who are full of energy and will provide their new family with hours of entertainment with their antics. Clarence and Raymond have grown up with other cats and dogs, so are not phased by either. They are such sweethearts and would be wonderful in a home with children who can dote on them and play with them. Everyone who meets them comments on what lovely dispositions they both have, however, many people don't want to take two. Two kittens is better than one, as they can entertain each other while you are away, and all it means is double the love! So if you think these two sweeties will make purrfect additions to your family, contact the shelter to meet them!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clarence, a Broadway Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Broadway, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Broadway.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Broadway already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Broadway breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Broadway paves the way for another one to be saved.
