Kasem's Story...
Sweet little Kasem was brought to a local shelter as a stray. We knew as soon as we saw him that he was a great dog. He was sitting quietly in the kennel curiously watching what was going on but not getting anxious at all. Kasem is about 2 years old and weighs about 14 pounds. He is very playful and gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home. He also likes to play with toys. He is very sweet and loving and enjoys being a lap dog but doesn't demand it. He is also doing well in the crate.

We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kasem, a Dallas Brussels Griffon dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Brussels Griffon for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Brussels Griffon dog from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Brussels Griffon breeders who help with Brussels Griffon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
