My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gizmo is a precious little dog who was given up by his owner when life circumstances changed. Gizmo gets along with other dogs but would also do fine as the only dog in the family. Gizmo rides well in the car. He loves squeaky toys but will soon make them stuffingless. Gizmo is very loving and sweet and likes attention from his person. Gizmo really enjoys his daily walks and would be a great pet for a retired person who wants a fun, but calm, dog as a companion. Gizmo is about 10 years old and weighs 15 pounds. He would do fine with children over 5.

We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.
