Hi everyone! It's me Sophie again! Boy, the holidays were exciting! Foster mom bought all us doggies a couple of new toys! I promptly removed the squeaker from one of them. I really like one of the other ones - it's football shaped and squeaks but it is see through and has a little tennis ball inside of it. I try really hard to get the little tennis ball out of it! I run all over the living room squeaking it and shaking it.

Foster mom wants me to tell you that I am getting better on my walks with pulling and with wanting to chase cars. I have been walking on a gentle leader harness and this seems to be helping. But this is still something that we are continuing to work on. I am also starting to come a little better when called in the yard. Foster mom still makes me drag a long line but I am figuring out that it is just better if I come on my own because she sometimes has treats or a toy! I am also starting to play in the yard with a jolly ball and the other dogs. Did I ever tell you that I am really fast? I am really fast! I run across the yard with my foster brother. We race. He's really fast, too. But I think I am faster.

Oh, and foster mom took me to something she called a "obedience trial" over the weekend. We didn't compete or anything but it was this big building full of all different kinds of dogs and lots of people. So many people told me that I am very cute and that I was being a good girl. I tried hard to concentrate on foster mom all the time but there was much going on! I sat nicely a lot of the time but sometimes I tried to smell a dog walking by or watch what was going on in the ring and I ignored foster mom's treats. I ride really nicely in my crate in the van when we go places, by the way. The van and my crate are a good thing - this means we are going somewhere! I like to do stuff.

I would really like a home with someone who wants to go to obedience class with me. I like spending one on one time with people. I would also like to try my paw at agility, rally obedience, flyball, or stockwork! I'm a little girl that wants a job or hobby!

Other than that, foster mom tells me I have to tell you that I tested positive for Lyme disease. I am taking antibiotics for this. I don't feel or act sick but I guess this medicine will help me.

If you have any questions, please email my foster mom!

Hi everyone,

It's me Sophie! I've been in my foster home for 2 weeks now and I am getting a hang of the routine here. Every morning before she goes to work we get to take a walk. I like walking - but, I like to pull a bit. I'm not trying to be naughty - I'm just excited! I also still want to chase cars. Foster mom makes me sit or lie down. But I still try. So now she is making me turn away from the cars when they go past. She says we are still working on this. I go in my crate quietly with a kong and an interactive toy when she goes to work. When she gets home we go outside and play in the backyard for a little bit before it's too dark. Then we play in the house - I like to play tug and I am learning to entertain myself, too. Foster mom makes me do some training in the house. I am learning to sit, lie down, stay, come when called, and even crawl! Foster mom says I am learning pretty quick. I'm getting along pretty well with the resident dogs, too. I even get one of them to play tug with me every once and a while.

Be sure to email foster mom if you have any questions! I would like to find an active home to call my very own - and share the awesome hugs I give with my new family!

Happy Holidays!
Sophie

Hi, Sophie here! I've been in my foster home for a week now and I am settling in. I am a young girl with a lot of energy. There are things in this house called "rules". I'm not real familiar with these. But I am a quick learner. I sit and lie down for treats. I don't always come when I am called - I think I have better things to do but foster mom makes me come. The resident dogs seem to think that I am a bit pushy but I haven't had much experience with living with multiple dogs! I think that I'll win them over and learn to hang out with them. I'm also learning to settle down and just chew a bone.

Foster mom and the rest of the dogs and I walk every morning. I get a little excited and pull on the leash sometimes. I also want to chase cars. Foster mom makes me sit but I still try to get them. She says that we need to work on this.

Today I got to go to farm and see sheep! And boy do I love sheep! I went around them and kept them all together. I hope I get to go again!

I really am a busy girl and would like a home where someone wants to spend time with me doing something! Foster mom says that I might be a good agility dog - what ever that is. She said maybe we can try that some time.

Be sure to contact my foster mom if you have any questions about me!
