Nick Furry's Story...
Nick Furry is an 8 month old, male, Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever mix. Nick was left in our night drop boxes with no information, so we have no history on him. First he comes off as a shy dog, but he warms up quickly and becomes an extremely high energy and very alert and in tune with his surrundings. Nick needs an adopter who has the time to devote to an active dog. He is adoptable at The Humane Society serving Crawford County at 419-562-9149

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nick Furry, a Bucyrus Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever for sale in Bucyrus, or seeking a Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever dog from a breeder in Bucyrus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bucyrus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bucyrus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever breeders who help with Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bucyrus paves the way for another one to be saved.
