Rupert's Story...
Rupert was brought into the adoption centre on April 6th with his friend Eddie. He seems to be a little more reserved and nervous than his pal Eddie. Rupert will need to build up confidence and trust with his new owner. Rupert will make a great companion but will need time to adjust to his new life. Rupert walks well on a leash and seems very eager to play with other dogs. When Rupert is adopted he will be microchipped, vaccinated and come with many extras! To meet Rupert or any of other other amazing animals looking for new loving homes please come to our adoption centre at 6220 - 50 Ave during adoption/viewing hours (Tuesdays 2:00 pm – 4:30 pm, Wednesdays 2:00 pm – 6:30 pm, Thursdays 2:00 pm – 6:30 pm, Fridays 2:00 pm – 4:30 pm and Saturdays & Sundays 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm). Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rupert, a Cold Lake Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso for sale in Cold Lake, or seeking a Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Cold Lake.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cold Lake already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cold Lake breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cold Lake paves the way for another one to be saved.
