Hazel's Info...

Hazel's Story...
Hazel is a young, 2 to 3 year old Maltese mix female. She has a soft, short straight white hair with apricot colored ears. This very happy and active young girl has tall legs so she loves to run and leap. Hazel is very enthusiastic and is the perfect age for training. Most of all she really wants affection and positive reinforcement. Hazel likes toys and will amuse herself by tossing a toy in the air and running to get it. She is quite entertaining.

Hazel is a healthy young dog, has been spayed, has a microchip, and her shots are current. Now all Hazel needs is a forever family with time to provide some training and enjoy Hazel. She will make a great family dog as she likes everyone.

If Hazel sounds like the perfect dog for you, please go to our website and submit an online adoption application. www.malteserescuecalifornia.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hazel, a Covina Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Covina, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Covina.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Covina already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Covina breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Covina paves the way for another one to be saved.
