Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Allow us to introduce you to Mikey, the two year old, 6 lb bundle of energy black and white Chihuahua. Isn’t he just the cutest !!
What he lacks in size, he more than makes up for in stunning good looks and personality. He is sweet, a total spitfire, complete social butterfly and quite pocket-sized by most standards. Once he warms up to you and he understands that you are friendly, he wants nothing more than to be in your lap; at all times. Well except for the times he is racing around chasing balls and toys that is.
We know that someone out there is going to take one look at him, fall in love, and give him his forever home. He has been in foster care, has great manners, and would do well in a home with children, dogs and cats.
A home that has a bit of energy would be most desirable. This boy does enjoy his play time. Walks will be short and sweet, because for every 2 steps you take, Mikey will have taken 20.....quick mover this one.
Do you have the love to give this little one? If so, please fill out our application at
We are a registered non profit society. All our dogs are vaccinated, sterilized and are fostered in homes with families.
NOBARS believes that a dog is best assessed for a new home environment by living in one!!!! Therefore we do not use kennels, but have a network of approved foster homes where our dogs can be properly assessed before being offered for rehoming. Our foster homes offer a varied range of experiences which means we can choose an appropriate foster home for each dog, but it also means our dogs are able to experience situations which are invaluable to owners looking to take on a new forever friend, such as children, cats and other dogs.
