SPANKY's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

SPANKY's Story...
3 year old miniature Schnauzer male, 13 lbs.
Spanky is a fun and loving little guy! He is friendly to everybody and to all dogs, he is calm and not the playful type but a great companion to another low to medium energy dog.

Spanky is also a great companion to someone who is home a lot, he loves to cuddle with his foster family and enjoys walks through the day. He is not a barker and behaves inside the house like a gentleman. One of his favorite things to do is mark every tree that he encounters on his walk. He is too interested in cats and thinks is funny to chase them, so no cats please. He is a sweet little guy hoping to find his forever home and family for Christmas. Whoever takes Spanky home will fall in love with him like his foster mom has.

If you are interested in adopting and think you can provide a great home for this pet , you may complete an online application so that we can better assess if this pet is a good match for you and your family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SPANKY, a Irvine Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Irvine, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Irvine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Irvine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Irvine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Irvine paves the way for another one to be saved.
