Boomer's Story...
Name: Boomer
Color: Fawn and White
Breed: Pit Bull Terrier
Gender: Male
Age: 4 Years
Boomer is a happy, super strong, high energy boy looking for a responsible, permanent home.
Big fan of: Boomer loves chasing balls and will need plenty of exercise to help him spend his boundless energy.
Special Features: He will need to be signed up for positive based obedience classes before his adoption can be finalized. Due to his great strength, his new person will need to be able to control Boomer with easy voice commands; this is where classes are going to be so important to help handle such a big boy like him.
Dream Home: He is not a good match for cats or any small animals due to his very high prey drive. It would be best for Boomer if he went to a home where he's the only dog, so his new family can devote a lot of time for training and exercising him. He gets along better with female dogs but even then he can be overwhelming with his strength and dominance.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boomer, a Bellingham Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
