Mia's Story...
Mia is a wonderful girl and will make some lucky family very happy! She was brought to the local animal shelter with her 9 two-week old puppies as a stray. She was an excellent mommy and did a wonderful job raising her little rugrats, and now she is looking for a home of her own. Mia is a quiet, low-key girl who loves to snuggle and hang out with her family. She gets along great with other dogs big and small, and even does great with cats. She likes to sleep on the foot of the bed with her foster parents or the 14 yr-old human child in the house. Mia is around 4 years old, so she's calm and settled. She's housetrained and crate trained, and is wonderful in the house. Not yet ready to adopt? You can sponsor a pet now to help pay for medical expenses, special diets, toys and treats, emergency medical care, etc., to provide for him or her during foster care. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mia, a Greensboro Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
