Hi, I'm Lily! I am 7 years young, 6.5 lb. tricolor, white/black/brown, smooth coat Chihuahua with lovely markings. I admit I am a Diva. I don't like to walk on a leash because I think do fine without one. I have been going to dog training and learning sit down and wait. Hum. The way I see it I have taught several volunteers.
Why should you adopt me? Well, my foster parents say I am funny, animated and entertaining. I make them laugh. I would be fine in a home with another 4-legged friend or having all your attention all to myself.
I have other assets too. I am very good in the house, not like those young pups. I know how to use piddle pads or tell you when I need to go out, when I am hungry, when I want to be petted, to go to bed, etc. YES, I can manage most everything. I have a trick my human friends call the "Lily tap" where I stand on my hind legs and tap your leg with my front legs to get your attention. I like to play with toys, snuggle on the couch or under the covers - all night. I even take myself to bed when I am ready.

Lily still has many years of love and joy to give. She would be a great companion dog or RV dog.

She is spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on all shots and has had a current dental and physical exam. For more information go to or phone 707-529-4643.

About 3R Rescue, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

We rescue dogs from rural and under-sourced shelters that do not have adequate medical support, staff or facilities and few potential adopters coming to the shelter. Euthanasia rates at these shelters are extremely high (80% or higher) Many of our dogs come directly off the euthanasia list.
Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home animals in need of a second chance. They are provided medical care, quality nutrition and the opportunity to de-stress and socialize in a home environment until they are ready to go to their new family. WE have animal behaviorists who assess each dog and recommend appropriate care and training. Many of our dogs are started in basic obedience training while they are with us.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our dogs ate available by appointment at the 3R facility, foster homes and other locations by appointment. Please see our website calendar for the list of locations where we have adoption events.

Our Adoption Process...

We require an adoption application. Once the application is reviewed and references are checked we schedule a 'meet and greet' with the potential adopter and the dog. We require that all immediate family members and their pets (mainly dogs) are brought to meet the dog. A home inspection is also conducted. We work closely with the new adopter after the adoption to help and advise during the first critical days/weeks in the new home.
