Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chloe!
Chloe is a mighty might – an adorable 7-pound, 8-year-old purebred toy Manchester Terrier. She’s a sweet girl – a little shy at first, but happy to curl up on your lap and under a blanket once you get to know her. She’s house-trained and sleeps in her bed at night (she knows the command “go lay down” and goes happily to her blanket).
Although she can be shy at first, Chloe has grown more and more confident every day since entering foster care! With a few treats, she'll be your best friend! She also can be a real clown, dancing with joy when you come home, and she'll fetch a ball any place, any time. In her previous home she was alone for long periods, so she's looking for someone who's around frequently -- because she's happiest with her people!
She gets along well with her canine foster brother but would do best as an only dog, or with another mellow dog -- or a small one, like her! Chloe would do best with adults or older children as, like many small dogs, she sometimes gets alarmed by strangers, being picked up or by unexpected attention. Her ideal family will be patient and help her continue to grow into a confident pooch!
Did we mention Chloe is a fashion plate? She has quite a wardrobe already (sweaters and coats, as she gets cold easily), so if you’re into doggie fashion, she could be your model and constant companion. Chloe is spayed, up-to-date on her shots, and recently had a dental cleaning. She’s ready to go to her forever home for the holidays!
Chloe’s adoption fee is $150 and she’s located in Milwaukee, WI. Because all our Cupids are fostered in private homes, an approved application MUST be on file before proceeding with a meet-and-greet. The online application can be found at http://www.caninecupids.org/adopt-.html.

Our Thoughts on Visual Breed Identification
Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable. For most of our adoptable Cupids we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We think it’s most important is to get to know each dog as an individual! We then do our best to describe each of our adoptable Cupids based on their personalities in order to determine whether they’ll make good companions based on prospective adopters’ lifestyles. Dog behavior is not exclusive to breed — it’s a complex mix of nature and nurture.
