My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chance really gets around well for such an older boy. He's believed to be a 15 year old, 11 pound Dachshund. This old man appears to be housetrained and spends most of his time sleeping. He came in as a lost stray on December 11th. He had a rabies tag on and when his former owners were contacted they informed that they had given him away to someone else. This poor old man gave his best years and now finds himself homeless. We hope that someone will give Chance a warm place to sleep, healthy meals, and he only asks for a little bit of love and attention. Chance is up to date with shots and already neutered. He will be micro-chipped and heartworm tested upon adoption. He is eating canned food. Please come see Chance soon! His ID is 571403 and he is in Run 323.

When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.
