Here’s Chester. He is a 9 month old, 15 lb cockapoo mix. He is a very loving, high high energy boy. On the other hand if you love hiking and being outdoors, Chester’s your man. He needs a dog savvy owner because he is very creative and needs a firm hand. He does have some anxiety on walks when there are cars and bikes nearby. He is great with kids and other dogs. If he lives with another dog, it must be a very active dog that will rough house with him. He sometimes barks at men but it isn’t consistent. He tugs a bit on the leash but is learning how to walk nicely. Chester is housetrained and a fast learner. He doesn’t cry or bark when left alone but must be crated. He also shouldn’t be crated more than 4-5 hours without exercise. He is not a bad boy, just insanely curious about everything, high energy even when left alone and accidentally destructive. He is a climber and a jumper! He also adores stealing and eating paper and hair ties. He would do best in a fenced yard. He would also make a fabulous family dog because no child will ever tire him out. He knows his name, sit, and fetch. He is a playful, friendly, easygoing puppy-like dog that gets along with other dogs and people.
