Mocha's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Mocha's Story...
Mocha is a 3 year old chocolate lab who was found as a pregnant stray. Because of her condition, she had to have a C-section to deliver her pups. Her puppies grew big and healthy, and have all found their furever homes, and she would love to find hers too. She is an active and sweet girl, who loves playing with her dog toys. She gets along great with other dogs, and is curious, but friendly with cats.

She is currently in Lafayette, LA but we transport north every two weeks. All LAA dogs are up to date on all vaccinations, spayed or neutered, on heart worm preventative, and microchipped. Please fill out an application at http://www.lafayetteanimalaid.org/adopt/dogs/dog-application/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mocha, a Glastonbury Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Glastonbury, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Glastonbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glastonbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glastonbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glastonbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
