My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

FOSTER LOCATION: Boise, ID

Cadi is an incredibly sweet 12 year old Poodle/Maltese mix.

She loves to sit on your lap with her head on your chest and be pet and loved on. She will sleep for a long time on your lap if you are sitting in the chair or couch. She takes quickly to a routine and does better with one. She knows what time her foster mom is supposed to get up in the morning and is ready to go outside and start her day also.

Cadi likes to go for walks (though she isn’t great on leash) and to play ball in the backyard. She isn’t much for other toys and will only play ball for a few minutes. But don’t let her age fool you she is full of life and you’d never guess she is 12. After a day of play and walks her favorite thing to do? Cuddle with her people of course. Cadi likes to sleep on the bed with you (on the pillow if you allow it); she likes soft fluffy places to lay and prefers to be by you, no matter where you are. She likes to wear her sweater inside and outside.

She has lived with other dogs and is good with them; she would do best with another calm, relaxed dog her own size so she doesn’t get lonely if you aren’t home. We are unsure of how Cadi will do with cats but our guess is she would be fine as long as the cat was friendly towards her.

Sadly Cadi appears to have been raised in a household that did not train her to go potty outside but rather to use a potty pad. Her foster family has her on a potty schedule and she is doing better but is not 100% trained by any means. This is a 12 year habit and very hard to break; a new adopter will need to understand that she will need a feeding/potty routine and be willing to keep potty pads handy until she is completely house trained.

If you can offer Cadi a stable home life with lots of love, affection and some training please complete an adoption application at: http://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/

Cadi is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She also recently had a dental

There is a $50 adoption fee for Cadi
