Here's what the humans have to say about me:
FOSTER LOCATION: Boise, ID
Boomer is a pistol. Being part Maltese and part Poodle Boomer looks like a Koala Bear from the top. He may be 9 years old but you’d sure never know it from the way he acts; we’d swear he was still a puppy full of life and energy; this is one fun boy!
He is super friendly and affectionate with everyone he meets; pretty sure he has never met someone that he didn’t love right away. While we have not had him around kids we were told that he has lived with them before and is good with them.
Boomer LOVES to go for walks (though he isn’t great on leash) and to play ball in the backyard. After a day of play and walks his favorite thing to do? Cuddle with his people of course. Well he would actually cuddle with you most of the time if you would let him and he can be a bit pushy when he wants your attention. Boomer likes to sleep on the bed with you (on the pillow if you allow it) and likes to have his own blanket which he will suck on to soothe himself to sleep.
This super cute guy has lived with other dogs and is okay with them; though he will get a bit snarky with them if the other dog is getting affection from the humans. We are working on this but think Boomer would do best as an only dog.. Boomer is not a candidate to live with cats; he views them as chew toys.
Boomer was raised in a household that did not train him to go potty outside but rather to use a potty pad and he was not neutered until recently. Boomer is now 95% house broken but does occasionally try to lift his leg so a belly band for a while is a must. He will stop if I say “Boomer” then praise him he stops.
If you can offer Boomer a stable home life with lots of love, affection and some training please complete an adoption application at: http://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/
Boomer is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He has also recently had a dental completed.
