My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BO is a 6 year old neutered black male Lab who weighs 61 pounds. Bo is a bonded pair with his buddy Rusty and they need to be adopted together. Bo is a very affectionate boy that loves belly rubs and loves to give you kisses. He is house trained and crate trained and is used to being crated when his family is gone. Bo loves to go for walks and does best with an Easy Walk harness to help limit his pulling. He knows the commands: sit, down, stay (treat), and house(crate). Bo is good with other dogs. He lived with Rusty and two other Labs in his previous home. He always greets other dogs with a wagging tail. Bo should go to a home with a fenced in yard as he loves to run around the yard and retrieve his toys. In his previous home, he loved to go swimming in the pond. This bonded pair are high energy even at 6 years old. They are very sweet dogs and want to be loved on. They LOVE to bound after thrown toys and are gleeful when they get them. They will benefit from more exercise and attention. They love bananas as treats and take treats very gently from your hand. They are gorgeous boys that will make their new family very happy. They are an owner give up to lab rescue due to new baby and working long hours. He is approved for kids 10+.

Update (1/02) The boys are doing well! They are both very curious. They both really like people. Bo a little more than Rusty, but both love to get in your face and give kisses. Both love to have their bellies rubbed. Bo tends to follow his people around everywhere. They don't play a whole lot on their own, but if you go out and throw stuff for them, they like to go get it. Rusty has been playing with the resident lab a lot more lately, but Bo doesn't join in too often. They will need some tough toys and should still be supervised with them. They have both been great on car rides. They've been in their crates up to 6 hours and done fine! They sleep on the bed at night. Everyone they've met have thought they were great and adorable.

Update (12/18): They both really like people and love to be with you. Bo and Rusty love to give you kisses . The boys love to have their bellies rubbed. They don't play a whole lot on their own, but if you go out and throw stuff for them, they like to go get it. Bo and Rusty slept in their crates and were ready to play again in the am.
