Mack's Story...
Sweet Mack! This handsome guy is just the most precious little man! He loves EVERYONE. Mack was, in the most literal sense, on his way to the "back room" to be euthanized when I called the shelter to say that I was coming to pick him up. He was labeled as dog aggressive because he did not want to share a small cell in a very loud and noisy shelter. Once out of his tiny enclosure, he was incredibly sweet and even submissive. His best buddy is a 100lb rottweiler. He loves kids and cats, has been vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and is house trained and crate trained. He is a perfect angel and would make an EXCELLENT companion for any family! Not an aggressive bone in his body!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mack, a Dallas Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
