My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

JAMIE had been abandoned at an Emergency Vet Hospital. On examination he was suffering from a broken right front leg, as well as heartworm disease. After several months of treatment and rehab, Jamie is now fully recovered and ready to find his new forever home. He’s about 8 yrs., neutered and current on all vaccinations and preventatives. Though his leg is now fused, he gets around quite well – can jump, do steps and enjoys short walks. Typical of Chihuahuas, he bonds very quickly to his “special” person and needs to be the only dog in the household. Also, best without small children or cats. Bio Update:
Jamie has come SUCH a long way since being in foster care for almost a full year. He's fine meeting new people, going on easy walks and his greatest reward he looks forward to is having his belly rubbed! He loves to be cuddled and is so ready to find his right and perfect home and a loving lap where he can sit and snuggle.
