Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jack is a year and a half old Hound/Shepard mix. He weight approximately 80 pounds. He's a play hard, sleep hard kind of guy. He loves to run, play with other dogs, and is a people lover. Jack has had basic and intermediate obedience training. He plays well with other dogs. He has had exposure to cats numerous times which has gone well overall. However, he gets a little too hyper for the cats to feel comfortable letting their guard down around him. We do feel that if he were in a house with resident cats, he would settle down around them. Jack is up-to-date on all of his shots (including optional ones like the Lyme's Disease vaccine) as well as all the regular stuff (Heart Guard, Frontline, etc.). One point of note with Jack (though it has been better the last couple of months) is that he does get car sick. A dose of Dramamine 2 hours before any car trip helps greatly. Jack would be perfect for the active family who likes physical play (walks, runs, fetch, etc.) and doesn't mind being followed around (Jack's a always-by-your-side kind of dog).
