Hi my name is Freckles…a pretty cute name for a pretty cute girl. I am about 9 years old and full of life. I am here at Midwest BREW to search for the perfect forever home and I thought BREW could help me out. Before I tell you a little about me let me ask you a couple of questions…Have you ever played the lottery? Have you ever won the lottery? Well, if not, then picking me as your pet and best friend will feel just like winning the jackpot!
I am completely housetrained and pretty independent. I love a good dog bed and I am a little timid about being on furniture and I don’t care for sleeping in human beds. I love to lounge and gaze out the window. I am fascinated watching squirrels and birds. I like to put my nose right up to the window to ensure a really good view. That being said, I am quite the nose print artist. I ride well in the car and enjoy letting my ears flap in the wind. I get along great with other dogs and have a 7 year old beagle foster sister. She is my pal, I really pay attention to what she is doing and I also enjoy sharing a blanket with her and getting to cuddle with her. I love to be around my foster mom. I always help her in the kitchen. I pick up some chores and do a great job of cleaning up crumbs and I must brag and tell you we have a spotless kitchen floor.
On walks, I like to take in all of the smells and I do the same in the yard. My yard is fenced and I enjoy being out there. I keep up on all the squirrel visits and I keep an eye on what all the neighbors are doing. I am a typical beagle and do my own thing outside so a fenced yard is kind of important to me.
Lastly, I love to be with people that love me. I enjoy belly rubs and ear scratches and that is all I really ask of you in return. Love is so important to me that I will return it back to you ten times over.
