I rescued Ella from the front porch of a house where the owner walked past her all day long. With no water or food she almost died trying to keep her babies alive. Ella is 5 years old and until now, never knew what true love was because when I found her tied to a post with no food or water I gasped at the site of her. Struggling to feed her babies, I was not leaving without her and her family. I am adding a picture the day I got her just so everyone can see just how precious she is. Loves to ride in car, play, snuggle, and loves attention. I feed her separate from my dogs because it would be understandable if she didn't want another dog close to her food. Ella is going to make someone a special member of their family.
This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for our Triple Header event weekend! First, CPR will be with North Shore Animal League at Petland in Southbury, CT on Friday, February 13th from 2pm-6pm. Join CPR and North Shore as they team up again at Petsmart on Saturday, February 14th in Meridan, CT from 10am-2pm. Lastly, CPR will be at Cheshire Cat and Dog Too in Cheshire, CT Sunday, February 15th from 10am-2pm. PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from Sunday's event. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event. You can apply while you are there, but the application will not be processed the same day. Come meet our pups and find your forever friend!
This dog is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $375 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2pm. An additional $75 fee will be added for puppies picked up from our Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. MA residents are no longer allowed to adopt from our adoption center or our adoption events due to MA regs. All MA adoptions must be finalized prior to the puppy leaving our care in TN.
