My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Gypsy! She was abandoned with her 4 siblings in a parking lot just before Thanksgiving. None of them can tell us about their parents, but we think that one of their folks has quite a bit of Cattle Dog in their genes. Gypsy is around 9 weeks old (as of December 19) and will be ready to leave for her new home in mid to late January. Gypsy is very observant for a young pup and takes her time in new situations. She and her siblings like to run, play fetch, chase and tug, just like all puppies should. She is up-to-date on all appropriate vaccinations and preventives and will be spayed as soon as she is old enough. Gypsy gets along with dogs and cats and is used to seeing horses. These pups are never alone as they are constantly surrounded by each other and a pack of grown dogs and cats. Gypsy has been a good car rider thus far and is working on her house manners. She spends quite a bit of time inside and is quickly learning the rules. She was the first to figure out what to do with puppy pee pads :) She is a baby, so be prepared to go through full training with her. Even though she is a mix, look into her breed before considering Gypsy. Cattle Dogs/Heelers are known for their high level of intelligence and herding instinct. To truly be happy and stay out of mischief (usually caused by boredom) they need to regularly be involved in activities which engage both their brains and bodies. Please, you MUSTpaste following link into your browser BEFORE emailing for further information.
