Skully's Story...
Hi! I am Skully. I am so lucky to be here. I was given up to the shelter by my dad and his 10yr son. They said I was too big. (Since when is 71lbs too big?!?) Then I was put on the euthanasia list at the shelter! Can you believe it? Not to toot my own horn or anything, but I am darn good looking. I should have been named Handsome Hunk. Thank goodness for Facebook and some kind people re-posting my picture. My foster momma called the shelter just in time to save me.

So here I am living it up in the suburbs! I am a 3yr old male Boxer/Pit mix. I don't have a mean bone in my body. I am a complete mush. Love to play with my toys and would like to live with an active family. I love any toy that squeaks. Those are my favorite. I am current on my vaccines and will be neutered before my adoption. If you think you have space for me in your life, I would love to meet you. I promise to give you unconditional love and keep you entertained with my goofy personality. But please do not apply if you don't have squeaker toys. Those are a must! I just can't imagine my life without them! Applications can be found on www.fowarescue,com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Skully, a Wayne Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Wayne, or seeking a Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Wayne.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wayne already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wayne breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wayne paves the way for another one to be saved.
