Bud's Story...
URGENT...This cats owners were an elderly couple. The human Mom passed away and the human Dad is now in a nursing home and doesn't really remember much. His brother is now in charge and he's not to fond of cats. There were originally 12 cats. Lisa has found homes for 9 of them and there are three to go. Each will be listed separately as each is a wonderful friendly kitty who desperately needs rescued from the brother before he takes them to Animal Control. They are all treasured babies of the couple. There is NO ADOPTION FEE for these kitties. A good loving home where they will be safe and loved is all that is asked.

Bud, DSH, neutered Male, Black, age unknown. Bud is just that, your Bud. Easy going and calm, Bud wants to keep you company. He loves to be petted and given attention, but will also just sit and be near you if you're busy and will wait patiently for you to return home. He gets along great with other cats, so if you're looking to fill in your family Bud would work just perfectly. He really needs rescued, so if you could give Lisa a call she will make sure that Bud and you get together. Call Lisa at (828) 381-6637 to let her know you want to give this sweetie a home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bud, a Morganton Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Morganton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Morganton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Morganton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Morganton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Morganton paves the way for another one to be saved.
