My story

How about hearing my story? I’m Dempsey, just so you know. Boy did I have a rough beginning. I’m not quite a year old and my first couple of months were tough. Before I was taken in by the wonderful folks at M.A.I.N. I had yucky itchy skin. Wow, was it bad. Just a few months later and I’m feeling great! What a difference some love and care makes. Did I tell you I have lots of dog friends at my loverly lady fosters house? There are four other pooches here I get to play with and two kitties that I love. Also, I like it when I get to meet little humans. They are the best. (I’m thinking of getting one for myself, but I may want to find a forever home first…) Did I tell you I have my own bed? I just can’t believe it. When I get tired of playing all day with my pup friends I can just curl up and take a nap. Or even better, I can cuddle up with my humans for a snooze. Learned how to use the dog door too. Boy, was that a relief. Now I can “go” whenever I need to. Whew! I am still a little shy when I first meet you, but I’m working on it. It’s so hard for me to believe how wonderful my life is now, when just a few months ago I was hopeless. I just need a chance to meet you and we will fall happily in love. I’m looking forward to it. How about you?
I am neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and come with my County license. My adoption fee is $150.
