Charlize's Story...
There's still time to have a young kitten for the holiday season! Charlize is a cute little gray and white kitten born in early October 2014. She was found all by herself in a garage in Mifflinville making the foster parents think she might have lifted a ride in their truck. Charlize is currently in a foster home in Mifflinville and enjoys spending time with their bichon/shihtzu mix. Unfortunately a family member is allergic to cats or they would keep their dog's new pal. Charlize has bright eyes and a cute little gray nose. She is playful and curious and gets along with dogs. Charlize is FeLV/FIV, up to date on shots, litter trained, dewormed and spaying will be covered. If you are interested in adopting Charlize please contact Michelle at 570-759-0920.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlize, a Bloomsburg Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bloomsburg, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Bloomsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
