Max's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Max's Story...
International Man of Mystery, that's Max! Although with his goofy demeanor he might be too open and friendly for the title - but What Is He??? We'll just call him cute, with his freckled nose, ears that can't decide which way to go and big smile, Max is approximately 22 lbs of love looking for a home. At 14 months old he should be fully grown which makes him a great size for someone who wants an active dog they can take hiking and to the park, yet small enough to not knock over the kids when he plays with them. Max is neutered, microchipped and current on vaccines, his adoption fee is $225.
If you are interested in adopting please submit an application at www.waggingtailsrescue.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Henderson Akita/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Akita/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Henderson, or seeking a Akita/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Henderson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Henderson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Henderson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Akita/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Akita/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Henderson paves the way for another one to be saved.
