Layla's Story...

Introducing Layla, Layla is a 6 month old lab/shep cross but she will not end up being a big dog.  She is approximately 30lbs and very petite and dainty, when she goes for a walk on her leash, she prances along bravely but is still a little timid of the world around her.  She has not had the greatest start to life but you would never know it, she is sweet, gentle and kind, loves to try to play with her foster sisters and when they try to ignore her, she gives kisses until they get up to play with her.  She is house broken, crate trained, doing well with her basic manners.  She would make a wonderful addition to any family, she is great with kids and would not be rough with them at all.

Layla has been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped.  Layla's's adoption fee of $375.00 includes her health records.  To meet Layla,  please email animalertpetadoptions@gmail.com or call 519-642-7732 and a volunteer will get in touch with you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Layla, a London Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in London, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in London.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in London already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a London breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in London paves the way for another one to be saved.
